Stone Mesa Flats FAQ

We're a pet-friendly community at Stone Mesa Flats! You can have up to two furry friends per apartment. There's a $35 monthly pet fee and a $300 pet deposit. Some breed restrictions apply, but we're here to answer any questions you may have!

Absolutely! You have the freedom to personalize your space with shelves, curtains, and posters. We just ask that you patch any holes before you move out to maintain the quality for the next resident.

We appreciate your creativity but ask that the walls be kept as they are. This helps us maintain a consistent look throughout the community.

​Our application process is designed for your convenience, all online! There's a $32 application fee and a $150 holding fee at the time of application. The $150 is applied towards your $500 deposit when you move in. Once you start the screening process, you'll receive a link from Docuverus to upload your income and ID for verification. After verification, we'll complete the screening and send you all the lease and move-in information.

Yes, we do! We require renter's insurance with $100,000 personal liability. We also ask that you be added as an interested party for your peace of mind.

You can easily submit maintenance or service requests online through our resident portal. If you prefer, you can also visit us in the leasing office or call us.

​You'll want to set up your utilities before moving in, with the start date as your move-in date. We use Colorado Springs Utilities, and they can help you switch over utilities over the phone or online with your address. Once that's done, please send us your account number.

The average rent at Stone Mesa Flats is $2,180. We offer a range of floor plans to suit your needs!

The Black Forest Park and Ride is conveniently located less than a mile from us. You'll also find a bus stop near Memorial Hospital North, just 1.2 miles from the community.

You can pay your rent through our resident portal for convenience. We also accept money orders or cashier's checks in the office if you prefer.
